What do you think the rating would be if it were rated and what for?

shareThis one is fairly tame by Hammer standards. There's much less blood than usual and no nudity - just a little innuendo that the vampires use their victims sexually as well as feeding on them. The opening sequence is probably the most brutal, but I don't want to spoil it for anyone by describing it here.

share...and then they make repeated attempts to stake her through the heart, but it's so small they never find it and Martha lives on today.
shareThis would get a PG-13 today. There's a bloody opening and a VERY graphic closing sequence which even bothered me (and I've sat through R rated flicks without flinching). However the edited TV cut (called "Kiss of Evil") is suitable for everybody.
