......indeed, probably one of Hammer's most memorable intros with the sombre funeral brought to an abrupt and somewhat gruesome end - superb stuff that only Hammer could serve up!

Yeah, was just watching this again the other day for the umpteenth time, and was thinking how atmospheric that opening was. Great use of the Hammer backlot.

The beginning is the only good part. This film stinks. Way below most Hammer efforts.
