Classic Ending! Classic!
Irony of vampires being wiped out by bats! The actor portraying Dr. Zimmer gave an outstanding performance! Again, one of a kind ending!

shareI loved that ending!
and the whole movie for that matter, excellent. When there's no more room in hell, The dead will walk the earth...
Loved the bats attacking the hot girls at the end in interesting places. Those were some lucky bats.
shareThe ending was originally written for The Brides of Dracula as a demise for Baron Meinster. It was then binned apparently because Peter Cushing objected to Van Helsing using a balck magic cermony to kill the vampire.
shareYes...he (peter cushing) didn't like the idea of evil killing evil, makes sense...I wish Peter C. would have been in this movie but it turned out fine without him. One of my favorite Hammer films.
shareSame here.
shareMemorably exciting
This is my favorite Hammer movie - never never never get tired of watching it so happy I bought the uncut DVD several years ago.
shareI loved it as well. I think bats should attack vampires more often.
shareAgreed, great ending. Rejected finale of The Brides of Dracula, good thing Anthony Hinds used it here.
shareI loved it as well
