It's a funny, pleasant film

It's what is called a "picaresque" story: of or relating to rogues or rascals; also : of, relating to, suggesting, or being a type of fiction dealing with the episodic adventures of a usually roguish protagonist.

There is a very amusing episode involving an American military officer. There is nothing political in the movie other than the workers in a bombed out cigaret factory take it upon themselves to rebuild the factory. But otherwise, it shows the virtues of the protagonist using his wits achieve his goal which is a free-enterprise way of thinking.

It is a good movie but I take issue with your comments:

There is nothing political in the movie

I don't understand why it would be wrong if there was. Western movies are frequently full of political content and nobody says a word about it, but if there's political content in a movie from a socialist country then it's automatically regarded as a sin. Only capitalists should be able to promote their ideology; everyone else should shut up about theirs. You confirm this bias here:

But otherwise, it shows the virtues of the protagonist using his wits achieve his goal which is a free-enterprise way of thinking.

Additionally, that has nothing to do with free enterprise.
