That poor dog!

Having to breathe all that secondhand smoke with its tiny little lungs and then being poisoned with alcohol all the time (I know that part wasn't real) is just a terrible example of how to treat a dog!

Otherwise, cute movie. I really wish Jack Lemmon had been in more romantic leads because he's pretty sexy. He was always playing the goofball or doing serious dramas.

Thank heavens I'm not alone on THAT score. I'm a huge fan of Jack Lemmon. Phwoar, he really had something.

Yes and for a tiny dog, it was handled a little too roughly at times.

They weren't nearly as aware in 1963 that the cigarette smoke was damaging to both humans and animals.
