Who else felt sad or pseudo-sad when (SPOILER) died?

Ortega.

Yea he was my favorite character in the movie. The toadies lackies and goons always get it in the end, back in those days.

Hahaha yeah, Ortega deserved much better. I loved how the MST crew adopted him as a semi-regular character after this episode; he was the caterer in one episode, and came over to hang out with Observer in another. Viva Ortega!

I love how it was Observer, Ortega, Ortega's cousin Stacy, and her boyfriend were going to watch "Sliders" in Observer's room. Something about the prosaic nature of that just makes me giggle.

I always thought there should have been one last shot of Ortega, the camera dollying in slowly on his motionless, dead form, going in for a close-up on him, when suddenly, he AWAKENS. I smell sequel. Wait, there already is one. RIP Steck, you died a year too late.

Stella (Toni Camel).

1) She was super cute.
2) She had that great B-52 hairdo, so popular in 1963.
3) I'd love to snuggle on the couch with her, listening to Car Talk or that great sax-and-guitar instrumental that plays right before/during her demise.

She deserved better. She deserved me.
