Who is the actor playing the father? And what are the lyrics to the lullaby he sings?

I just watched this tonight - on VHS! His name was Jan Rubes. I don't know the lullaby, sorry.

Thanks! I watched for the first time yesterday, on VHS too! I still love old Disney video tapes. I think the lullaby he was singing may have been in another language, though I'm not sure which one.

I think it was Finnish; In the book anyway,their last name was Nurmi, and I believe they were immigrants from Finland. :)
