New 35mm print
has anyone else seen the new print? it played at the theater i work at this week and i caught most of it. it looked excellent and hopefully there is a dvd release on the way!
shareI just saw it 3 hours ago here at the Montreal Cinémathèque. I wasn't aware of there being a new print before you mentioned this but it did look brand new. It was gorgeous!
I also saw "Trans-Europ Express" yesterday and it also looked brand new...
The first four films by Robbe-Grillet all had new prints: L'Immortelle, Trans-Europ Express, The Man Who Lies, and Eden and After. I only saw L'Immortelle and Eden and After, both of which I thought were great.
shareDamn, "L'homme qui ment" was screening last week and I couldn't make it. Let's just hope his films get played more often now that they have new and beautiful prints...
