UK Blu Ray . . .

Is out now, courtesy of the wonderful BFI. It has six movies a Robbe-Grillett made between 1963 and 74. I haven't watched the others yet, but the transfer of this one is fantastic, crisp and luminous.

I hadn't seen this before but I wasn't disappointed, lots of Marienbad style time-shifting (in the soundtrack as well as the image) and dripping with enigmatic exploration of memory.
