They never made this film but I'll bet Hud ended up oil rich and moved to Midland, and found a typical Texas dingbat to marry after test driving a few hundred. They had kids that became football players, cheerleaders and beauty contest winners when he paid off the judges. They drove giant gas guzzlers and lived in faux mansions made of ticky tac. And those kids had kids that ended up being dopers and sluts and all of the money got spent on lawyers and abortions.

Typical Texas oil story.

Ha ha - HUD 2 was the tv show Dallas

This also sounds a lot like Larry McMurtry's "Texasville," his "Last Picture Show" sequel
