Wasn't that Robert Wagner playing the medic tending to the Col. after the bombing?
It certainly looked like him, but the movie was released in 1963 and I thought Wagner's career started around the '50s.
I'm watching now and rewound it to that scene. Sure looks like him. Good eye.
