How MANY Times have you seen this Classic ?

I would say around 20 times for me

reply

First time I saw it was in the 80's on tv. Bought the vhs in the early 90's, dvd about 10 years ago, altogether I'd say I've seen it 30-40 times.

I can't even remember... I do remember that the first time was in 1966, because it was at the height of the U.M.C.L.E. craze and all the David McCallum fans watched it. I always watch it on Veteran's Day and V.E. Day, and the last time I saw it was on the day that Sir Richard Attenborough passed away.....

I do hope he won't upset Henry...

I watch it a number of times a year. I'm 41 now, possibly watched first when I was 8 or 9, so I'm up to approximately 65-70 times. The Cooler King still doesn't make the jump at the end - you'd have thought he'd have made it by now. Quality throughout the film.

I watch it every time it's on tv, it's on A LOT in the UK (twice this very week on ch 5). Being 41 and having watched this from being about 7 its got to be +50 times of watching by now!

reply

Not many times. I've seen it more than once, I'll just leave it at that.

Hey there, Johnny Boy, I hope you fry!

reply

More than I can count. It's an amazing movie.

reply

I guess I have lost count but everytime I do watch it, it is just as enjoyable as the very first time I saw it when it first came out in 1963.

reply

Same here ... kinda hard to believe that it was that long ago - watching it again now.
How many years has it been ? 52 years ago just seems crazy. The Kennedy assassination and The Beatles etc., wow wow wow OLD !!!!

reply

Lost count how many saw it first as a child now I'm 44 watched it twice today with special edition 2 disc dvd still a brilliant film very special

reply

I'm going to have to claim the title here. Saw it in the theater at age of 12. Figure average 3 times a year since (conservative). That makes better than 150. And I'm watching it right now!!

i've never seen a credit list with so many nicknames in it, i found this for a very cheap price on dvd along with some other war movies, but people say that the release was in very poor shape, i guess that could explain why it was sold so cheap, so i'll just catch it on tv instead, i remember first and only time so far, that i saw this, thought it was one of the greatest movies i had seen.

you invited me in from cold,
to a house of sunshine by your presence alone,
how i realise now i missed those cherry lips,
like a rose opened back up when you returned to me,
you lost those tired eyes,
with your charm no one alike,
lost at dreamland honey in your smile,
to your sweet house of sunshine.
