aww...I love this movie
but I have'nt seen it in forever. its such a cute movie
sharewow. i haven't seen it since i was really little, and i'd totally forgotten the name and everything until i got the idea to look it up (i found it on a wikipedia list of fictitious cats). it was really fun to watch, and now that i'm something of a francophile, i can't wait to see it again!
shareI taped it off tv when I was little and I loved it so much, even though I wasn't really into animal movies. I lost it and when I found it years later I was excited to watch it again, but about halfway through I found out my mom had taped over the ending with an episode of Star Trek. Wasn't even a good episode. I was seriously pissed.

This is one of my favorite animations... I have the DVD now so I can watch it again and again. Judy Garland, Robert Goulet and Red Buttons do amazing jobs. :D
shareI loved this film so much that I named one of my first male cats Jaune-Tom. Now I must go search for the DVD online...
... I admire a person that's willing to do whatever is necessary.
Yea, I bought the dvd online as well, and Im so happy, cause even though Im a little old for these kinds of movies, I still love em

It was an odd animated film because never before and never since have the stars voices been so identifiable. I mean, there is darling little Mewsette who suddenly belts out a song ala Garland and in Garland's full, magnificent voice. Same with Robert Goulet. The soundtrack album is teriffic because of the great voices singing some really good songs.
sharei saw it long time ago and it was a nice animated movie, but now when i try to watch it i can't, the animation is pretty bad, there are too many gaps in the storyline filled with too loud a singing. a mixture of an attempt to imitate the disney recipe and a musichall. it has some good moments tho'
shareMy mom used to love this movie when she was a little girl, I saw it recently and I loved it!

I saw this as a kid and loved it. Some parts of it are on You Tube, but not my favorite part: when they sing "Bubbles", and go on that psychadelic trip!!!
Bubbles....Bubbles.... Billions and Billions of Bubbles....
It is there now: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CQeOuZw_FTo
shareIt's absolutely one of my favorite movies ever. I saw it countless times when I was a kid, we had it on VHS but someone taped over it and I didn't have it for years, until a few years back I found out that it's on DVD so I bought it. I'm 25 now and I'll never be too old for this fantastic movie.
shareSame here. As a fan of Judy Garland, I love this movie for love the music, Garland and Paul Frees' Meowrice.
"Life after death is as improbable as sex after marriage"- Madeline Kahn(CLUE, 1985)
I bought this on dvd about ten years ago and enjoyed watching the film, I found it similar to The Aristocats (which came out 8 years after Gay Purree).
shareSame, I love this movie too. It's just so cute.
