Watching this as an adult...

Lovely film. Loved it as a kid when it played on the local UHF channel and really appreciate it even more now as a film loving adult in his 40s. However, wish I watched it in my "partying" days as a 20-something. This movie is somewhat psychedelic and would have been fun to watch while recreation-ally indulging in what has recently been legalized as "medicine". Wonder if it was purposely designed that way for the beatnik crowd of 1962. ;)
