Tom Lehrer wrote a song especially for the movie - very appropriate song related to the story line, and much more significant if you're a Tom Lehrer fan.

Rod Taylor sings it while playing the piano in the O-Club. It's not "Up in the Air Junior Birdmen" but it is close, a rag about the Wing Commander.
