Hilarious/Sad Review

I love how the first user review for this movie slams "Star Wars" in its last sentence! Hilarious, but weak.

Come on people! A movie review should cover the movie in question, and mention other movies only if there is a related point to be made! Similarities or differences in direction, writing, etc. are fair game. Or you can point out similar movies that are better or worse in your opinion.

But to simply slam an unrelated movie is stupid and juvenile.

Note that the converse of this is that it IS fair game to totally SLAM the primary movie in question if that's your opinion. It is equally sad and stupid to read all the people on here who have the "if you can't say something nice about this movie, than don't say anything at all" attitude. WRONG. An opinion that something sucks is just as valid as praise.

In context, however. It's called "writing", as in making an intelligent statement in clear, correct grammar and spelling.

Easy, if you make an effort.
