KINO vs. GERMAN EDITION(E-M-S)

The recent DVD I got from Kino is just way too dark a print and robs much of the film of it's wonderfully seductive visual beauty imo. I've read that the German edition DVD print of this film is the most attractive version, visual wise, that has been released thus far.

Has anyone whose been able to compare these 2 versions of the DVD give me their own personal verdict as to which one they feel is visually superior?
