now available in full widescreen, July of 2012

The Warner Archives program of MOD discs is releasing a CinemaScope disc of this film today, along with another Steve Reeves film (SANDOKAN THE GREAT) and four other sword-and-sandal films on DVD-R. THE SLAVE has not been properly letterboxed on home video previously, so thanks to Warner.

The movie looks pretty good in anamorphic widescreen DVD.
Now it needs a blu-ray release!
