Fun, colorful -- wheres the DVD?

I saw this on TCM a couple weeks ago and greatly enjoyed it. Hopefully somebody will relese this soon on DVD, perhaps as a double feature.

I found a DVD, possibly from Korea, several weeks ago at one of my town's local stores. It looks like it has been transfered from VHS, yet given scene selection and cast bios.

As I type this I'm in the process of watching this fine film, ON DVD for the first time. I, like yourself, wondered if I could find this film on DVD and after searching for a couple of weeks a year ago I gave up hope. Then today I stumbled on a store called Darkside (their website is www.THEDARKSIDESTORE.com). It's a small store with a Halloween vibe to it and as I was walking around I noticed this movie sitting on the shelf. The "vibrant" lady at the register said that only 3 copies were ordered and that I bought the last. She spent the next 8 minutes praising this flick.
It truly is a hard movie to find so hopefully she can get you a copy if you go to the site and ask (I haven't seen the site yet). I Hope this helps your quest because this one looks good.

warning to animal lovers, the bird gets it. well it has now been released on a great dvd from simply media (on region 2). check out those low door entrances for such a big house. funny how this starts off as a rational ordinary movie then suddenly hit by the sort of colour that seem to be a reoccurring thing in vincent price starring movies. there also is a contrast between the rather rational looking dvd cover to the movie it includes, leading you on to thinking it's a much different flick than it is. i'm so moved by vincent price's acting, and he has such screen presence and i love when he narrates himself, i don't know how appreciated he was at the time, but he certainly has become revived today just as bela lugosi has, one cool thing i heard in an interview about him was how he started off as a regular leading man but didn't feel he found his right place until entering the horror genre where he became an icon of course, usually it's the other war around clearly, actors struggling to become a regular movie lead. i was surprised this was mgm, it didn't air on tcm nordic as "house of wax", and this board sure had much fewer posts than i expected there to be, also i didn't realise how many flicks share the same title as this. what simple ways to bring horror effect, this couldn't be made today for a number of reasons.

movin through desert,
you arrived unexpected,
on a carpet of money,
looking for satisfaction but couldnt find it,
in blooming economy trade,
gut wrenching deals being made,
on your camel i couldnt get through,
investing my soul away from your infested root.
