In one scene Glen Ford comes into the kitchen with a grocrey bag with eggs and a box labeled "HI HO",does anyone no what this food product was? I enjoy watching for food products in films from the early 60's when I was a child and seeing if they still are around or if the container has changed,am I the only person that does this?

Hi Hos were crackers. They were the Sunshine brand version of Nabisco's Ritz.

Just because hydrox came 4 years before oreo doesn't mean it can't be a poor man's oreo. Hydrox has less name recognition and tastes like garbage and is therefore a poor man's oreo. If you want a good cream-filled cookie, you can't be kosher (although apparently you could eat a giraffe to fill the void).

shareI somewhat remember them. I remember people referring to "Hi Ho crackers" when I was a child in the 70s-80s.
They were crackers, similar to Ritz Crackers, from the Sunshine company. Hydrox cookies, similar to Oreos, were also by the Sunshine company. I think they were around until the 1990s and I still miss Hydrox cookies.
share@oypoodle: apparently, Kellogg's trot them out every so often - the last time they did so nationally was 2008. Although not available to consumers, apparently, Carvel still uses Hydrox cookies in their cakes because they're kosher. Thought you might be interested in this info
