Will it ever be available on video?

From what I've read on here it seems to be a very interesting independant film with lots of actors early in their careers. Did a search on the internet but found nothing.

Of course the film is available on hard to find films! Just type in when you get to the website in the search box cool world and there it will be! I own a copy myself, you know!

Fredrick Wiseman, the producer of the film, will sell you a copy on videotape.
For $400.00. Plus shipping.

My only interest in seeing this film was due to its appearance in Steven Schneider's book 1001 Movies You Must See Before You Die. In my opinion there is no way that such an inaccessible film should be featured in a book of this title. I refuse to spend money on a film I have never seen because if I don't like it then it's a waste of money. If like me you are really interested in watching every film in this book I would advise you to have a look at youtube as this film is currently posted on there. This was the only way I could view it and it has to be said both the audio and visual quality are pretty substandard. I did not enjoy this film but I do get the feeling that it was probably influential in a number of ways on American film-makers however it does not for me stand up in comparison to the post war Neo-realist films from Italy or the French New Wave of the late 50s and early 60s.

I really enjoyed it myself. I recommend it to anyone with the interest of finding those rare gems often overlooked. I don't know about all that Neo-realist mumbo jumbo this cats talking(I sound like one of the boys in the film) but this was a well done film and sometimes people shouldn't spend so much comparing and analyzing where it came from or what genre rules it follows. Its a story about being lost and trying to find your identity, trying to find your way through the filth. Now Im talking mumbo jumbo. See the flick, if you like stories, you'll like this story simple and plain.

This should definitely be restored. I gonna look into putting a word to the ears of people with the interest of preserving lost and damaged film.
