Like the ones they made about the making of "Psycho" and "The Birds".

So much behind-the-scenes drama, so much scandal, so much panic behind the scenes at the studio, as the costs mounted and the suits realized they were basically gambling the fate of the studio on the most controversial film of the decade if not the century!

With the central irony that absolutely none of the behind-the-scenes passion or drama made it onto the screen. As a film, it's long and boring.
