warning to animal lovers, the dog gets it. pretty off putting people in the introduction of the movie, you got these two fellas snickering and condescending the woman after she closed the door, she in turn tells off the kid, who up to that point appears as the most likeable person in the story, who still is by all suggestion what the main title refers to. notice when there is a still picture on a kid while a granny like voice is heard, it looked just like the norman bates situation in the end of "psycho" (1960). beware, "children of the damned" is just a cheap copy of "village of the damned", the title of this don't even make sense, the grown douche bags seemed to be the damned ones, the village of the damned was a neat original story, this was kind of a mess, and i'm thankful it wasn't a direct sequel, since it was more like another weaker take on the same theme, i got this on a double feature along with the village of the damned, and i took for granted they were connected, the dvd even has the word "sequel" printed big on the dvd cover and claims to being made by the same people, but afterwards i had to compare the billings with each of the movies, and they have entirely different moviemakers, casting, director, producer... not a single attachment except based on the same novel roles, i get an idea this couldn't be sold on its own and cashed in on the original, same reason this got made in the first place i guess, so get the single release of "village" at a cheaper price. can you imagine how insane it would look to someone just tuning into this seeing the tanks and military threatening the children.

close to midnight,
hands on clock reachin high,
at you spirit fly,
wish you stayed clock round,
as the hands begin to fall down,
you leave a void fire gone out,
when youre here i wanna stop time.
