I just watched it on TMC and its about my third viewing,first as a kid.The color is fantastic,and Im a fan of less technical special effects.I thought they were charming,Im not much of a fan of computerized effects.

Very good cast betrayed by poor production values. The Producers grasp did not match their reach. They had the imagination not the ability.

I recall my sister and I seeing this in the theater. We would have been about 10 and 12, respectively, meaning it was a magical experience!

Just ordered my copy from Warner Archives. I haven't seen this since I was a kid in the late '60s. As I remember it is fairly violent in a fantasy way. Looking forward to seeing it again.
