nicely put. as somebody who lives just a hop, skip and a jump from "tinseltown," i'm sure many a small-town girl (or guy) would be well-advised to take heed, even today. if there were statistics to underscore you point, i'm also sure they'd be pretty sad. i saw this film early one morning on cable. i could see what its outcome would be; i wonder why many of those who suffer the same fate as janet munro's character don't see the outcomes, themselves, before it's too late.
