No Love Secne a Disapointment

Loved this movie but was disappointed that there was no love scene between Starvos and Sophia Kebabian, the middle aged wife of the rich American businessman. Director/writer Kazan beautifully set up such a scene. The virile young Greek man with the unfulfilled wife who desperately wanted to experience what she never had with the arranged marriage to her husband. She longed to experience what she had missed.

Maybe such a scene would have been too "hot" for this movie. Any comments?
