Thanks for Mentioning this Show

I saw this show as a young child. But I haven't seen it since then. It was on the trending board, so I decided to look it up on youtube last night. I watched the first few episodes.

This show was better than I remembered. I used to watch just to see Uncle Martin's antennae go up, or to see him use his Martian powers. Everything else went over my little head!

Now I see how it was a classic "fish out of water story". Martin was so different and he expressed his opinions about human beings. He wasn't mean or judgmental. He came from a very advanced society and he expressed to Tim what he felt about human beings.

As an anthropologist he observed humans and studied them. He had a lot of interesting insights. All of this went over my head as a child.

Now I'll have to watch more episodes.
