I had a friend, who is no longer with us, who showed me a photo of himself in uniform which he said from when he was in the TV series THE LIEUTENANT. I have discussed this with a mutual friend who doubts it. Can anybody verify that Ralph Lee, born East Hampton (or thereabouts) NY was a cast member? Thanks.
shareI can't verify Mr. Ralph Lee. But I do know that the movie, The D.I. written and directed by Jack Webb used many active duty Marines from Camp Pendleton. Also, the Green Berets, directed by John Wayne, used many active duty U.S. Army Special Forces personnel. So I wouldn't be surprised if Gene Roddenberry did the same considering that Roddenberry was former U.S. military (USAF B-17 pilot) and recepient of the Distinguised Flying Cross in World War II. Gene was a fanatic about factual portrayls in his work. I would conclude that Mr. Ralph Lee was stating a true fact.
