I just watched TJGS's Christmas episode, I rented it from Blockbuster online btw, I noticed Judy was favoring Joey during this episode. She was more affectionate towards Joey than her other 2 children. I wonder if Liza and Lorna noticed this and how they felt about it?

Joey was the youngest and also had some problems stemming from birth. Judy did favor him, but I don't think the girls resented it. In fact, Lorna looked out for him almost like a mother. I think they both understood he needed a little special attention. Plus, he was a very lovable little boy and I think they treated him much as Judy did.

shareIt's all speculation, but yes, it's believed that Judy substance issues caused Joe some problems. I think he might be a little slow and maybe has some emotional problems to boot. It's said he lives in a group home.
He seems to be a very nice guy, too.
Lorna Luft in an interview about four years ago, Joey is a photographer who lives in California. He doesn't like being in the public eye. I have seen recent pictures of him, and he looks okay to me.

I noticed this, too. Much more affectionate towards Joey. And Lorna, for one, seemed incredibly nervous the whole show - constantly looking all around for the guy that was going to beat her with a hanger after the show, a la Mommie Dearest.
