Such an insult!

The nostalgic cable station...."getTV" - Channel 1283 in my area, is currently running The Judy Garland Show episodes from 1963-1964.

The captioned synopsis reads:

"Judy Garland Show.....Like the star herself had a troubled history and it suffered format changes."

I feel this is so insulting! I don't want to hear their criticism...there were a LOT of television shows that have been cancelled! All they should do is mention the show, the dates that it ran....and the special guest stars! Obviously they felt the show had some redeeming quality, or they would not have added it to their programming.

Poor Judy did have a troubled life in entertainment....she had been a victim of exploitation by Hollywood since she was a child star; and it's sad that her memory is so dumped on as a result of that. Find any book on her life that you can and read about how the powers that be fed her pills to keep going doing a grueling day of work, pills to knock her out at night; and pills to wake her up to start the painful, despicable process all over again.

"OOhhhooo....I'M GON' TELL MAMA!"
