Would you like a jellybaby?

They're really very good, you know.

reply

4 is the only Dr to me.

reply

agreed

reply

Who is Tom Baker

reply

They're not that good

reply

4 is the best! 3 was good though!

reply

I never got a chance to see 3, it was well before my time. Most of Tom Baker was too, but those were always being played it reruns here in the US so I got to see most of those when I was just a wee poppet.

reply

3 was a bit early for me too, but I enjoy reruns of him, I like 1 too, never seen enough of 2.

reply

I enjoy the characterization of 3, but I don't like the fact that the show's budget or whatever kept him stuck on present-day Earth for so long.

reply

Ah Tom...

One of my greatest thrills in Nu Who was seeing him on screen with my other favourite Doctor, Smithy, in the 50th anniversary special.

Such an eccentric and wonderfully sharp man, to this day. Also one of the earliest campaigners for a female Doctor Who, even suggested as much when it was announced his record tenure was coming to an end. Not that you’ll ever hear anyone acknowledge the fact now, that doesn’t fit their narrative at all 🙄

reply

Yes, because the current generation seem to think that they invented ‘woke’, whereas the irony is, it was here all along.

reply

Used to be known as “giving everyone a fair go” back in my day.

reply

No doubt it will be called something else by the next generation.
