Did the LAPD Give Amos Burke Mileage for the Use of His Limo?

Since a Rolls-Royce gets very few miles per gallon, I wonder if Capt. Burke submitted an expense report to the LAPD for the use of his car while on police duty? (In other words, was Capt. Burke as parsimonious as, say, the late, great Jack Benny or Ebenezer Scrooge?)
