Saw this tonight- thought of Trump

This and Citizen Kane for sure.

I saw this on TCM too. I think the line about "everyman being a god" is a not so subtle reference to Huey Long's "every man a king" quote. Like Long, the character despised authority but only because he wanted to replace it with himself.

This character is probably a little deeper. Trump is a one-note, narcissistic-personality case.
