Just receved this email from the ArcLight Cinemas (Cinerama Dome)

I am pleased to inform you that we will be planning to have the most
extensive Cinerama event ever, to coincide with the 60th anniversary of
Cinerama. This will be taking place September 28th through October 4th,
2012 in the Cinerama Dome at ArcLight Hollywood. Eight Cinerama films,
played together for the first time: This is Cinerama (1952), Wonderful
World of the Brothers Grimm (1962), and How the West Was Won (1963), will
be playing in their original 3 strip format. Cinerama Holiday (1955), Seven
Wonders of the World (1956), Search for Paradise (1957), South Seas
Adventure (1958), and Windjammer the Voyage of Christian Radich (1959),
will be showing in newly restored digital format.

Thanks handlebear. I hope they announce the showtimes soon so I can plan a trip to LA. Gotta see The Wonderful World of the Brothers Grimm in Cinerama!

Agreed the idea of seeing this film projected again in Cinerama is very exciting! To be fair we should also mention that Pictureville Cinema in Bradford, England is also planning on showing this movie in Cinerama in April along with a somewhat similar festival. Not all of the other features are the same, but Bradford has other interesting things on their own schedule. So there are (so far) two chances to see this picture in Cinerama coming up.
