Lady Jayne
Jane says that during production of the film Miss Stanwyck called her by her actual first name, "Lady".
shareI've heard this before too...I think I also remember Jane saying that she visited the set of The Lady Eve as a child and she sat on Stanwyck's lap and Stanwyck called her Lady Jayne then too. That's such a precious story!
Incidentally, Henry Fonda and Stanwyck got along famously and both professed their affection for each other through the years. Fonda said many times that he was in love with her and once said, "Jane came this close to being Barbara Stanwyck's daughter."
