deleted lesbian spanking scene

There has been some debate about this scene here and other places on the net. The truth is that it was deleted because the people responsible for remastering and rereleasing movies these days are absolute idiots that have absolutely no artistic integrity whatsoever.
They do this time and time again. They take an old movie that had character and individuality and chop off anything straying outside the cookie cutters blade and then release it as a "classic" that will make the old people grin in remembrance.
I can only hope that someone with a mind of their own has the full version of this film and releases it themselves. Maybe if enough people do it then the suits at warner and all the other testicularily deprived drones making a living sanitizing our past will learn to keep their talentless mitts off of our films.

It absolutely amazes me that these people can ramble on for hours about how film making is an "art form" and the realisation of an "artistic vision". Then they can take that final product; a film from 1962; and slice and dice it to fit on to a dvd using only the scenes some suit who wasn't even alive during the filming deems fitting for this particular genreration in this particular year.

Perhaps an online petition might get something accomplished. Something has to be done before they butcher the entire history of film making. For all we know they could be releasing these remastered versions and throwing out whatever is left on the cutting room floor.
