KENNETH WILLIAMS

I've written a review for this movie, but it really is just an acknowledgement of how I feel about the great Kenneth Williams.

Having watched Michael Sheen give a bravura performance as Williams in Kenneth Williams : Fantabulosa and realizing how bitterly sad Kenny's life was, I flicked through some of his talk show appearances.

What a raconteur. What an entertainer. What a loss. He was SO brilliant.

I find it fascinating that now, all these years later, one of our great Australian comedians Shaun Micaleff in his show, Shaun Micaleff's Mad as Hell is impersonating the great Kenneth. He does the flared nostrils and cries, "Ooh Matron."

All these years later I love it, however, all these years later, it hurts to think of Kenneth's life.
