I agree. I thought Vincent Price gave one of his best performances, he was truly heartbreaking in the scene with the child ghosts inviting him to "play."

I agree, Price was at his unbalanced best in this one. I, too, felt pity for him when the child ghosts were asking him to play. Ostracized by other children, and probably adults later, made him a sad and angry man.

It is a good movie. I remember when it came out it wasn't as well received as other Price movies but I think not having it in color really hurt.
shareI thought the black and white was fine, but I didn't enjoy this as much as most Price films. I've been on a roll with them lately, so maybe I'm jaded. 6/10 stars from me.
