Fake Rape & Harassment cases wrong convictions

So its 2015 and still the law is unjust, we have so many(90% of such cases were false in 2014 in India) where the rule book is blind and ruins life of innocent men. The movie is a story of 1932 and even 80 years later the law has made no space for Men.

Why is it so?

Your comment doesn't have much to do with this movie.

You are jumping around -- from supposed false rape allegations in India (and the book and movie are set in the United States), using statistics without a source.

Then you are talking about the law making no space for Men, capitalized, and I think you now want to talk about men versus women, which has no bearing on the book or movie either.

Do you have a point?

From the news, we are learning that India has a bad rape problem, with prosecutions of rapes not being pursued. Women are killed there, and here, every day.

I'm wondering what the problem with Indian men is with women. There must be some underlying hatred of them or something along those lines.

Women rarely make false rape accusations. Anyone could reason that one out. There is rarely any benefit of it. The woman is put in the limelight and blamed for it.

Chances are, if it's a criminal action, the charges are real. If it's a civil action for money....it could be real or false, since there is money in it.

In any case, rape is hard to prove. Men are rarely found guilty unless there is overwhelming evidence, the best being DNA. Juries are prone to believing the men, esp. if the woman is a lower class type.

In the case in this movie, she had a reason to blame a black man. The jurors should have been more suspicious of her. There was no solid evidence of rape. This is the sad history of blacks in our country back then.

"Women rarely make false rape accusations"
Clearly you weren't in the military. Women are constantly accusing men of rape, and the men didn't do anything. Often both parties are drunk and the woman just doesn't want to look like a skank.
