Dill didn't need to be in this film.
There's no reason for him to be in this film.
He won. Get over it.
Dill was the most important person in Scout's life beside her dad.
His imagination fueled their ideas about Boo.
Dill gave them a child's insight (though flawed) of the outside world beyond their town.
Dill of course was Truman Capote, because after all this story was based on Harper's life. Harper and Truman's connection cannot be understated.
I can't imagine this story without Dill.
Scout couldn't either. I bet.
