'Losing my memory....'
"Can't remember if Jem was 12 or 13."
What is the meaning of this line?
I just can't see where it fits in, and I don't remember it from the book.
It's a line from the book. Based on what Scout says, Atticus first believed that Jem stabbed Bob Ewell and was trying to plan the defence of his action to the court. I don't know if juvenile court existed then but Jem's age probably has some importance.
