Running Time of This Film

I saw this film on TCM on Friday evening, June 11, 2010, where the running time was listed as 130 minutes. But the print TCM showed ran only 113 minutes or just a bit more, certainly not 130 minutes. Most sources I've consulted cite 130 minutes as the running time, though a few use 113 minutes as the length. Does any one know if 17 minutes were cut out of this film, and, if so, what those 17 minutes contained?

Tonight, 4/24/2013, TCM is showing it again, and again at 113 minutes. Don't know if you've uncovered any answers to your nearly three year old query, but my search for a full-length version of this film, earlier and currently, has led me only to an edition provided by Warner Archives on DVD with the same truncated length. Wish I could remember any of the sequences now missing, but it's been much too long since my last viewing. Still, it's not nearly as unmemorable or mediocre as its obscure status might suggest.

It was one of the better character studies of a sensitive (though not wimpy) man that I've seen. I found the whole thing to be quite touching. The marriage of the two main characters, of course, is doomed to disappoint both since they are such a mismatch, but that adds to the underlying sense of despair that was the desired mood for this somewhat obscure gem.
