Something I've noticed. When Dieter Eppler and the coachman carry Eppler's coffin into Wolfgang and Louisa's wine cellar, there is a shot of the vampire's family crest on the lid of his coffin....you see that selfsame crest on the bedroom doors of Wolfgang and Louisa's renovated villa. Apparently the vampire has been there before, possibly Eppler's vampire was once one of the villa's original occupants.

shareI have seen this movie a Zillion times on VHS and like three times since the DARK SKY version came out on DVD and I never noticed that crest on the door before but then again, this film has alot of loose ends in it that I wish were tied up, like the Vampire's strange allegiance with Corrine which is never explained, he cames into her bedroom after Louise disappears and talks to her like he's known her for a life time before he finishes her off, I mean WTF?
I've heard there is like 11 minutes missing from this movie and the DARK SKY version may have put some of that back but not nearly enough to explain the Corrine thing, I dunno, I heard the Italian Version of the Film CURSE OF THE BLOOD GHOULS could hold the answer to that...Perhaps some future release would have both versions in it.
