'The Main Attraction'

Anyone know what happened to a song called "The Main Attraction" that was supposed to have been written for the 1962 film? It was played a lot around then but was missing from the DVD.

Think your memory's playing tricks on you (but whose doesn't after 45 years?!!). "The Main Attraction" was the title song from a different Pat Boone movie that came out the same year as this one, about seven months later.

It was made in England, with Boone on loan-out to MGM, and co-starred Nancy Kwan. I saw it when it came out but I'm afraid I can't remember a thing about it. Pat Boone movies tend to have that effect, yet I was very attracted to him then (when I was 13-14) and went to see them all anyway. I'd like to see it again some day - hope it shows up on DVD.

The one I really want to see again, though, is THE YELLOW CANARY, which came out the following year. That was some sort of gritty b&w crime drama, as I recall - a film noir wanna-be and a real stretch for Boone. Seriously hoping that one makes it to DVD.

When I saw the OP, I was thinking the same thing...that THE MAIN ATTRACTION was a different movie. Thanks for confirming that I'm not crazy.
