Rome Adventure: Gorgeous Song Al Di La! & American Lyrics!

Movie girl: This movie came out when I was 10 or 11, but I did not happen to see it then. One day in the 70's I was rooted to the spot watching the film for the music was so beautiful and stirring. I have the music now on my MP3 Player and have come to admire the wonderful Emilio Pericoli, the fabulous singer.

I collect rock music of the 50's and 60's, so was delighted to find an American version of the song Al Di La sung by Connie Francis. Though I hear it frequently, "none can compare to the original" - and I am a Connie Francis fan!

Do not want to create a Spoiler, but you will find the resolution at the end of the film. Too bad the marriage between Suzanne Pleshette and Troy Donahue did not work out!
