True Incident?

MST3K website lists this was allegedly based on a true incident. Stealing corpses as a fraternity prank.

I've not seen this film yet (since I ordered the boxed set from amazon instead of buying it in a store here - doh!) but the plot outline sounds suspiciously like the urban legend detailed here http://www.snopes.com/horrors/gruesome/cadaver.asp which was really just a campfire horror story.

Underneath the haughty there's a little bit of naughty.

I'm sure some urban legends can come true. I own Volume 11, it's a decent set. The Ring of Terror has quite a few funny moments.

The funniest in the set I think is Horrors of Spider Island.

I agree with you about horrors of spider island but both my husband and my brother thought that was the worst of the lot...to each his own I guess.

My older brother doesn't watch Horrors of Spider Island much. It could be the sexuality, but apparently my brother doesn't like spiders very much. I don't think he's afraid of them, he just doesn't like them.

I also own Volume 10, and The Giant Spider Invasion is the funniest episode in that set. He thinks so too, we're both MST3K fans, but he doesn't watch it too often.
