Yes-The FIGHTER and THE WRESTLER
both shadow RFAHW.
But a remake?
It would have to be set in the same time as the original-a modern remake would have to have the fighter into MMA and fast cars or something.
The story line of Mountains tail end of his fighting days finishing vs Cassius Clay is way too rich to remake
Plus,the original is a GREAT MOVIE-overlooked when it came out-Quinn shouldve been nominated for a academy award

Baloney! The whole cast should have been nominated for awards.
This is a great film.
