Subtitles Left Out

The only thing that I found annoying, seeing this fine film on TCM, is the lack of subtitles for some of the dialogue. I can understand it happening on occasion, but there were a few exchanges that weren't subtitled at all. I hope it might be corrected for future audiences.

I know what you mean but yet it didn't diminish my enjoyment of the film one bit. I found the lack of subtitles to be refreshing in a way and I imagine that only the dialogue that was key to moving the story was translated. Excellent film.

I agree. I just watched the version that was aired on TCM, and this is by far the worst job of subtitling I have ever seen. The word "lazy" comes to mind.

Great film though, and even with the missing dialogue it is easy to follow because the director does a great job.
