Final Shot - What did note on door mean?

The final shot in the movie is a slow zoom in to a note posted on a door. What did it mean? I didn't recognize the door and we don't get close enough to read the contents. Would this have been something obvious to Irish audiences 50 years ago?

It was to let members of the public know that the execution had taken place and at what time. When Regan makes an earlier reference to 'a note pinned to the door', this is what he was referring to.
