Confused with the ending

What was Emily's plan, and why did she want to kill Guy through his fear? Did she marry him for the money? And was her Dr. father a body smuggler?

yes the father was using corpses for medical reasons.

Anyone have a better answer here? I was a bit confused too. When he first wakes up and confronts her, she blames his sister; then his sister arrives on the scene after she's dead and says no, it was her. Why do we believe the sister and not her?! And right, motive? Money?

Throughout the movie the stunning Emily seems too-good-to-be-true. Why is she even interested in this phobia-stricken, nigh insane older man? Why is she so willing to marry him and happily tolerate his curious neuroses?

I'm assuming she wanted his money and estate (with the intention of selling it for more money) and running off with Guy's younger, more handsome colleague. Speaking of which, her glaring interest in Miles so soon after Guy's burial would support this.

So the climax is a 'twist' -- the winsome woman the audience thought to be pure and devoted turns out to be a greedy, murderous antagonist. Her having possession of the key to the crypt cements this interpretation (although I suppose it could be argued that Kate planted it on her, but I didn't get this impression).

Still, the truth about what actually went down and why is kinda muddled and should've been better explained.
